The Emmy is an international award that recognizes excellence in the industry. This is the highest award given in television. The Lower Great Lakes Chapter's Emmy Awards Show is presented in the fall of each year. Locations for the show vary from year to year, but are most often held in the City of Cleveland. The 39th Annual Emmy Awards Gala was held September 13, 2008 at Marriott Key Center in downtown Cleveland.
